On the PCS Comment part of this website users will be able to add comments and get involved in debates and add their points of view. This policy will act as a guide to what will be published.
We aim to foster a culture of respectful dialogue where members can share experiences or engage in discussions on relevant issues through the PCS website.
We welcome and encourage constructive comments and differing points of view. But this is not intended to replicate or replace our policy making forums such as annual delegate conference.
Users are encouraged to add comments to articles in the Comment section of the website. All contributions are moderated before publication and PCS reserves the right to edit comments or use them in other PCS publications. PCS does not guarantee that all comments will be published.
PCS will never publish any comments that are homophobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic or offensive to religious beliefs or that could be in any way interpreted as such. We will not publish any comments that contravene, or could in any way be interpreted as contravening, PCS equalities policies or any other policies.
PCS will not publish any comments that represent fascist or far right opinions or that could be interpreted as such.
We ask that all comments are phrased in language that shows respect for contributors and other users of the website. We will not publish comments that are abusive or aggressive.
Please be aware that the resources available for moderating comments are limited so there will be times when comments are closed.
The final decision to publish comments on the website or in other publications rests with PCS.
