Application guidelines

The following general information is relevant to all PCS vacancies:

  • Only PCS application forms will be considered. CVs will not be accepted. 
  • PCS is working towards equal opportunities and is positive about disabled people. 
  • All posts can be considered on a full-time, part-time or job share basis.

The documentation relevant to a particular post includes:

  • a job description and person specification Word format 
  • an application form in Word format

All of this documentation is available via the advert for the particular post. An equal opportunities monitoring form is included with the application form.

There is also additional information that is relevant to all posts on PCS generally and on working for the union in this section of the website.
