Our Young Workers' Week runs from 25 November to 1 December.
The focus is on the recruitment, organising and development of young people into the trade union movement.
All branches are encouraged to get involved and do some activity to highlight issues affecting young members and to target recruiting and organising them in your workplace.
It is more important than ever to be targeting young people to join a union and get active, not just to increase membership density but also to train up the next layer of union organisers.
Your branch can:
Download the 'speech bubble' under YW week resources on the right-hand side of this page. Encourage members to fill one in and send us your photos of them holding the signs to email@example.com
Send pictures and reports of your activity to firstname.lastname@example.org
Any PCS member aged 27 and under can join the network.
The young members network has successfully built up a network of young members in different workplaces and regions and we are continuing to build links with other trade unions and youth organisations.
