The national young members committee meets quarterly.
Regional young member conveners are elected every year before our national young members forum in February, to determine the work of the network for that year.

Mark Chisman, chair

"Hi I'm Mark Chisman and I'm national young members chair. I work in Leeds and I am also the regional convenor for Yorkshire and Humberside. I work for the HMRC and have done for five and a half years. I have also been a PCS member and rep in some capacity for four years"
Sam Harrison - Midlands young members convenor

"I've been a member of the union for about two years, and active for a year and a half. My main aim as part of the national young members committee is to try and make sure that young members issues are properly looked at, and not overlooked because 'They're young members, what do they know?'"
James Rolles - London and south east young members convenor

"James is branch secretary for HMRC Surrey and is a member of the south east regional TUC executive committee. Before James worked for HMRC he was a prison visitor for detained asylum seekers. In his spare time he is currently learning Russian and is a supporter of Aldershot Town FC."
Laura Parkes - vice chair

Laura has recently been elected as branch secretary in her workplace. Laura has been a PCS member for five years and works for the British Council in Manchester.
Heather Hampson - equalities officer

Heather works for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. Heather joined PCS three years ago and has been involved in work around Palestine. Heather has written articles about her experience in Israel
Sarah Hills - south west young members convenor

Sarah has been a PCS member for seven years. Involved in the network from the beginning, Sarah is also branch chair in her workplace, HMRC group executive committee member and is involved in HMRC equalities forum. Sarah is also qualified as a union learning representative and has been involved within the TUC young members forum over the past couple of years.
Alan Warner - eastern young members convenor

I've been active for just over a year, so pretty much since I joined the
department. I'm a rep and have also been involved with the 'make your vote count campaign' in my region. My main aim for eastern is to raise the profile of the network and get other young members active. Its extremely important that young members' views are represented.
Dewi Thomas - Wales young members convenor

Dewi joined PCS a year ago and works in Job Centre Plus in North Wales. Dewi is young member regional convenor for Wales.
Mandy Constantine - northern young members convenor

Mandy joined PCS about two years ago. She is branch young members officer in her workplace and is also taking up the role of Make Your Vote Count co-ordinator within her region.
Stuart Gray - Scotland young members convenor

Stuart joined PCS around four years ago. He is currently branch young members officer in MoD Glasgow and was involved in a local drive to unionise agency workers. He is also Scotland young members convenor.
