Over the last couple of weeks, members of the PCS pay team have been engaged in discussions with NATS management in an attempt to resolve the differences between us over the 2011/12 pay offer. Those discussions have not yet reached a conclusion. As a result, we will be continuing those discussions this week and it is our hope and intention to arrive at a negotiated settlement that members will find acceptable. 

In order for our representatives to focus on those discussions and to promote a positive climate for us to negotiate with NATS management, the industrial action ballot which was publicised to start from Monday 25th July will be slightly delayed.

The Group Executive Committee are meeting this week will receive a report on how the discussions are proceeding throughout the week. Members will be advised on the outcome of those discussions and if necessary, a revised timetable for industrial action should those discussions falter.
