HP Enterprise Services

PCS has a sizeable membership in HP Enterprise Services (HP) including both members who TUPE transferred from the Civil Service and members who have joined after being directly recruited to the company.

PCS is formally recognised for collective bargaining for members transferred under TUPE as well as campaigning for members at a variety of other levels, including the UK and European Works Councils.

Our union is working towards becoming an organising union within HP and ensuring that our structures reflect the new HP structure so that we can best promote and protect the interests of all our members.

HP provides IT systems for a range of government departments, including; the Department of Work & Pensions, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice amongst others.

Each account is represented on the PCS HP Group Executive Committee (GEC) which meets at least four times a year to determine union policies on issues affecting members.

We want all our members to get involved in our union: all our staff have an important part to play in building a stronger union.

There are many things you can do to help - from distributing PCS notices in the workplace, helping colleagues meet their learning needs, to promoting energy efficiency.

Training will be provided to help you and you will not be expected to take on more than you can cope with or are willing to.
