Welcome to the Siemens pages of the PCS website.

PCS represents the interest of over 13,500 members working across several Siemens UK businesses.

Our members deliver high profile public services in the National Assembly for Wales, National Savings, UK Borders Authority and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency. They also deliver to the private sectors providing key services to the BBC.

PCS members also provide central services to Siemens companies in Siemens global shared services. Our members work on sites across the UK, with the majority based on the National Savings sites in Blackpool, Durham and Glasgow.

However, as our union has grown so has the number of locations we cover, most recently we extended our membership to include members working on the Merlin service desk in Cardiff. We are also in discussions to agree recognition and full collective bargaining rights.

It is always a challenge for us to build and maintain our representative structure. Our organising plan is to increase membership levels to maximise our industrial strength

We actively seek to achieve a strong rep structure involving of ordinary members so if you want to help us maintain our record of supporting workers please get in touch with any of our commercial sector admin team.

Our group brings representatives together from all areas of the company to allow them to play a full part in the union’s campaigns and processes.

In recent years PCS has campaigned successfully against off shoring and for improvements in pay progression and these successes are built upon a strong active membership and experienced local representatives.
