Conference received a delegation from the French Union SNICA-FO (the union for driving examiners).

The general secretary Christian Grolier spoke of the problems facing their union in the current climate of government attacks on the French public service. He kindly provided a copy of his speaking notes (please bear in mind that English is not his first language).

Another member of the delegation, Fabienne Berryer also spoke on the issues faced by women in the public service, particularly female driving examiners. Again, she was kind enough to provide a copy of her speaking notes.
