Responsiblities of full-time officers

The following are current allocations of responsibility for DWP work which have been allocated to full time officers.  These are subject to change.  When changes are made branches will be notified.

Keith Wylie

• DWP group secretary, responsible for group organisation, policy co-ordination and delivery
• Line management of allocated bargaining staff and DWP organiser
• Project manager of DWP learning reps network project and member of PCS ULF projects overarching committee
• Management responsibility for DWP organising & communications strategy
• DWP based social policy and political links issues including all submissions/lobbies, associated activity and development of constituency based lobbying work by local members
• Overall responsibility for IT and communications strategy development
• DWP group elections

 Dave Wilkinson

• Pensions, disability and carers service (PDCS)
• Child support agency (CSA)
• Corporate centre and shared services
• Staffing, resources & structural change including workforce planning
• Political links and links with lobby groups and outside organisations
• Employee relations
• Disputes (as allocated by the group secretary)
• Secretary to the group standing orders committee (SOC) 

Charles Law                 

• Jobcentre plus (JCP)
• The rent service (TRS)
• DWP pay & grading (support to group secretary)
• Personnel policy issues (HR)
• Privatisation policy
• Disputes (as allocated by the group secretary)

Steve Cawkwell                

• Group organising (including membership records)

• Conference arrangements (with office manager)
