Responsiblities of full-time officers

The following are current allocations of responsibility for DWP work which have been allocated to full time officers.  These are subject to change.  When changes are made branches will be notified.

Martin John

  • DWP Group Secretary with overall responsibility for organisation, policy co-ordination and delivery
  • Line management of Industrial Officer team and DWP Learning Project
  • Management responsibility for DWP Organising & Communications strategy
  • DWP based social policy and political links issues including all submissions/lobbies, associated activity and development of constituency based lobbying work by local members
  • Overall responsibility for IT and Communications strategy development
  • DWP Group Elections
  • Pay and grading
  • Employee Relations Negotiations

Dave Wilkinson
