Review of the Indirect Work Allowance

The Indirect Work Allowance (IWA) is used by Jobcentre Plus as part of its process for allocating resources. Indirect Work is legitimate work activity a member has to do but which is not directly related to their job role - for example completing flexi-checks, undertaking appraisals, attending team meetings or logging on at the start of the day.
TPIP Project – update for members on 11 TPIP sites

The pause in the implementation of the TPIP project continues while management decide how the project should proceed. It is now likely that decisions on the future of TPIP are to be made shortly with an announcement expected soon after that.

PCS is still in talks on a new standard operating approach to replace the hated CCD business rules. We are making some progress however we have continully raised that a major part of the problem is the culture that runs through CCD which we will also need to tackle. We need your help to make sure all issues are raised with your local reps so that we can challenge all unfair practices.
