1) We are under enormous pressure to deal with the massive number of unemployed, sick, elderly and child maintenance but the government and opposition want to cut and privatise our jobs.

2) If the government get away with this attack on the Civil Service Compensation Scheme it will make it cheaper and easier to our cut or privatise jobs.

3) So far the union in the DWP and CMEC has been able to stop compulsory redundancies and make sure that any job cuts have been through voluntary schemes. If the government get away with this attack on the Civil Service Compensation Scheme it will make voluntary schemes less attractive and make compulsory redundancies more likely.

4) Thousands of Fixed Term Contract and Casual Staff want a permanent job.

5) This attack on the Civil Service Compensation Scheme will make it easier and cheaper to get rid of Fixed Term Contract and casual Staff.

6) Supporting the strike will send a strong message to the government.

7) You will be telling them that we won’t let them take away our contractual rights.

8) You will be telling them to get back in to talks with PCS.

9) You will be telling them we won’t let them cut jobs on the cheap.

10) Solidarity is strength, if we all stick together we are stronger
