PCS is at the forefront of campaigns to improve and defend the pay terms and conditions of PCS members.

The key to success

PCS has many committed and skilled reps at branch and group level who negotiate on your behalf. It is however your active support and involvement in our campaigns that determines the unions strength in these negotiations.

Current campaigns

Our main campaign is on the proposals for the future of Land Registry under the Accelerated Transformation Programme (ATP).  This will see Land Registry closing 5 offices, shedding 1,500 staff including the majority of members at the two lowest grades, outsourcing of some back office processes and a 'process improvement' review for many more withing the next two years.  This will be followed by a further review with the threat of further office closures, privatisations and job cuts.
