Group executive committee

The LSC group executive committee (GEC) is the decision making body within the group, making decisions on campaigning and strategy. It is comprised of members from all of the 9 LSC regions and national office.

Composition

The GEC comprises of the following:

Group president
Group vice president
Group organiser
Group treasurer
Two group assistant secretaries
Ten group executive committee members - each linked to a branch.

There is also a full time officer, employed by PCS, who acts as group secretary. Please see the Group contacts page for details of the current incumbents.

Meetings

The GEC is scheduled to meet six times per annum, as well as any special meetings arising due to changing circumstances.
