The MoJ group of PCS places equality at the heart of what we do; our organising, our bargaining agenda and within our branches and represenational structures. News about equality can be found in the news box at the right hand side of the page.
The MoJ group currently has the following advisory committees:
The role of each of the advisory committees is to act as a mechanism for providing specialist advice to the group executive committee on issues affecting the groups represented by each committee and to provide a link between members and the GEC to support the exchange of information in taking forward the group’s organising, bargaining and ensuring our structures become more represenative.
The committees will also have a role in developing the education and organisation strategies of the MoJ Group, particularly in recruitment of new members and encouraging the participation of members in PCS.
The GEC is keen to get members involved in these committees to provide essential involvement of all groups within our membership. It has been decided that to overcome any potential barriers that members should be able to self nominate to encourage more members to get involved even if they are not currently involved in the formal structures of PCS.
If you would like to participate in any of the Advisory Committees email denroy@pcs.org.uk.
