Tribunals Service

The Tribunals Service is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice and covers 25 tribunals as diverse as the Estate Agents Appeal Panel and the Charity Tribunal in England, Wales and Scotland.

While PCS members work in all tribunals, the largest numbers are based in the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, Employment Tribunal and Social Security and Child Support Appeals. The Tribunals Service is a relatively new agency of Government bringing together tribunals under one management structure.

PCS members in tribunals are facing a major re-organisation which will create multi-jurisdictional hearing centres and centralise administration in regional centres. Through these pages we aim keep members updated of the group and national news on issues which arise in tribunals.
