DE and S working party meeting - 2 Sept 2009

Branches are invited to send up to 2 representatives to the next DE and S working party meeting.

During the day we will have the opportunity to brief branches on a range of important issues that are impacting on our members working within DE and S. We will refresh our strategies and plans designed to address issues such as collocation, PACE, flexible resourcing and transformation.

Another important element of the day will be the opportunity for branches to report back how these issues are impacting locally and to assess the extent of management’s local consultation and application of the various procedures and concordats that are in place to manage these initiatives and protect member’s interests.

Representatives will be funded by MoD group, though it would be appreciated if second delegates claim from the branch where finances allow.

Please make every effort to have your branch represented at this very important meeting. As ever our strategies and plans are highly dependant on the support and engagement offered by local Branches and activists.
