Guard service quarterly meeting on 28 September

At the last MGS quarterly meeting it was decided that, in order to fully understand the potential impact of PR09 on the MGS across the country, and in order to determine our strategy going forward, a further meeting would be required. This meeting has been set for Monday 28 September 2009. It will begin at 11:00 in Room 4.2 at PCS headquarters in Clapham.

Chris Dando, the MoD group president, will chair the meeting. Paul Barnsley, the group secretary and GEC members with MGS/MDPGA responsibilities will also be in attendance, as will non-GEC members of the national joint consultative committee.

The single agenda item will be PR09, although there may be an opportunity to discuss other issues if time allows.

MGS group managers will be encouraged to release officers to attend this meeting. Travel and subsistence will be met from GEC funds. Claim forms will be available on the day. As ever, in PCS it is our members who will decide how we respond and what action we should take. It is therefore essential that your branch is represented at the meeting so that your views and your voice are heard.
