Travel and subsistence claims during the postal strike

12 October 2009

The MoD group executive committee (GEC) is fully behind for our fellow workers in the CWU in their current dispute with management.

However, the GEC do not wish to see PCS officers and activists suffer undue financial hardship through no fault of their own due to delays caused by the postal strike.

Therefore, attached to this briefing are travel and subsistence and request for advance forms. John Wilson, the MoD group treasurer would ask that in order to ensure prompt payment of claims that members email electronic copies of their claims direct to John at jhnwilson6@yahoo.co.uk

Furthermore, John would recommend that members request an electronic bank payment to be set up, to reduce the risk of claims and/or cheques going missing in the post.

In order to do this, you will need to provide me with your bank account number and sort code. If anyone has any queries or would like to discuss these arrangement please give call John on 01785 787108 or email him at the above address.
