Campaigns eventUnite are holding a lobby at the next NHS Hull board meeting to protest against the Trust’s refusal to ballot staff over transfer of services from the NHS to City Healthcare Partnerships, a social enterprise organisation. This goes against the Secretary of State’s ‘NHS is the preferred provider’ statement, and the Strategic Health Authority assurance and approvals process, which requires evidence of staff support for a transfer.
Join us if you can between 10.30 and 11.30am (photo shoot around 11am), however we shall be there from 8.30am to around 1pm to cover the start of the public meeting and the end of the closed session.
Please contact Kate Oultram, Unite Health Sector Organiser, if you would like more details.
