Mark Serwotka, PCS general secretary, was the guest on You and Yours the Radio 4 phone-in programme today.
The programme asked the question “Should the public sector share more of the pain in the current recession?”
Most callers were supportive of public sector workers, and helped to dispel the myths about public sector pay, jobs and services.
