Young members to debate the future

The fifth PCS young members' forum will be held in Birmingham from 5 to 7 February 2010.
Topics include: is there an alternative to public sector cuts?; tackling climate change; Youth Fight for Jobs campaign; organising in call centres; taking trade unionism into schools; and how to draft an organising plan for your region.
There will also be an election for the position of chair of our young members' network. Rosie Huzzard from DWP Sheffield will be competing against incumbent Alan Warner from DWP in Norwich.
Debbie Mallet has been elected unopposed as equality officer alongside Helen Flanagan who continues to hold the position of vice chair.
