    Well it seems Obama has won! hopefully this will have a positive affect, not that Bush has left the country in a good state, but time is a great healer, lets see if he pulls it off!

    I have to admit I didn't trust the American people to do the right thing no matter how many points Obama was ahead. I'm overjoyed to have been proved wrong. My dad went on civil rights marches in the US in his youth. We are very proud as a family that his part in the struggle seems to have paid off.

    The question is now answered!! What remains to be seen is whether he is true to his words, or whether he becomes an American version of B-liar and goes back on everything he says he stands for. I hope not.

    Much as I hope Obama wins I don't think he will. George W Bush was elected twice (well, at least once.) There's no reason to believe the US population is any less ignorant now than it was four years ago.
