Road safety: protected thanks to PCS members

A long running campaign in the Vehicle and Operators Services Agency (VOSA) has seen off proposals to privatise the agency's work. Jim Fitzpatrick MP, minister for Transport, announced the decision in the House of Commons in July, following a two year campaign by PCS members and sister unions Prospect and Unite.

1,000 mile tour to save offices

Two intrepid PCS reps traveled over 1,000 miles in five days to tour all of the 19 Scottish tax offices earmarked for closure in the department's latest announcement.

Rallying against racism
