During the past year Young Members in the region have been part of the PCS delegations to both the ICTU and ICTU NI Biennial Delegate Conferences. They have also become active in the ICTU Youth Committee, helping to organise socials, and the May Day Quiz and have been a part of the May Day rally. This activism has been commended within the region and they have represented PCS well on all occasions but it must be built upon for the future.
It is hoped that this year even more young members can become active within the region by establishing a Young Members Network, identifying at least one point of contact within each PCS group / branch in the region and supporting these Reps by providing regional training courses, meetings and social events for all young members to participate in.
