Group delegate conference & the group executive committee

The annual group delegate conference (GDC) and between meetings, the health group executive committee (GEC), are responsible for the management of the group. Their purpose is to protect and promote the interests of the members of the group.

Each branch elects delegates to the GDC. Officers and members of the GEC are elected by the whole membership subject to reservations for group assistant secretaries and GEC members. Business is conducted in accordance with the group's constitution.

The GDC agrees group objectives and priorities each year and the GEC is responsible for ensuring a common approach is taken to common problems.

The intention is to reflect members' concerns and the GEC welcomes all input into their ongoing development.

If you have any comments on these please take them up with the GEC members covering your branch. See the group contact page to identify who these are.
