So branches are required to keep their membership records up to date and inform the membership department of any amendments.

commix, the PCS membership system, makes the process of managing and amending membership records easier as each individual member and key branch and group officials can assess a range of data about themselves and their branches via the internet.

As membership records contain personal data about members it is important that they are kept secure. There is also guidance on the Data Protection Act.
