Public and Commercial Services Union

PCS plays an important role in wider issues on health and safety.

At a national level, PCS meets with other Civil Service trade unions, through the Council of Civil Service Unions.

This forum also gives us access to the Health and Safety Executive section with special responsibility for Crown safety issues.

We are part of the Trades Union Congress network of union health and safety specialists.

Through this we meet with other union safety officers and can input our comments to the TUC on any HSE/ HSC proposals to introduce or amend legislation.

Also, through the TUC we can link to European developments through the European TUC and other linked organisations.

We are also involved at European and International level, through affiliations to international bodies:
