Trade union education

PCS trade union education courses aim to support representatives in their role - whether this is recruiting new members, improving branch organisation, dealing with personal cases or negotiating with management. Find out more in our course programme.

Our courses are designed to meet the needs of reps at all levels - from new reps to experienced reps. We also provide courses for members who may want to be more active.

A training pathway has been developed to allow reps and branch officers a structured method of developing skills and knowledge.

All courses have a practical focus and include a range of tasks and activities. Courses include materials that participants can take away to use as a resource pack.

Please see the events pages for current courses in your region.
