Trade union education

PCS trade union education courses aim to support representatives in their role - whether this is recruiting new members, improving branch organisation, dealing with personal cases or negotiating with management.

Equipping reps with up-to-date knowledge and skills is one of the key ways that we are able to provide support for members in the workplace.

Our courses are designed to meet the needs of reps at all levels - from new reps to experienced reps. We also provide courses for members who may want to be more active.

All courses have a practical focus and include a range of tasks and activities. Courses include materials that participants can take away to use as a resource pack.

Please see the events pages for current courses in your region.
