PCS research officers can offer general advice on pay negotiations and provide background information.
Questions on pay for the area where you work should be directed to your local representative, branch, or group office.
Requests for specific comments on individual proposals should be directed to Charles Cochrane, director of policy, research, information and bargaining support department in the first instance.
We want to improve services to negotiators by providing a directly accessible pay database.
We also believe that standardised information gathering is crucial to provide a better service to all bargainers and to inform the national pay strategy.
PRIBS has been working with the Labour Research Department to update our current pay database.
LRD will now host an ongoing service to negotiators via a bespoke PCS page on the LRD's website.
This will be accessed via a link on this site using a special password. Bargainers will also be able to access the rest of the LRD PayLine database which contains details of settlements from the whole UK economy for comparative purposes.
The service is for pay negotiators. For a user name and password for the pay database please contact your full time officer.
