Motion 88 in SOC Report No.1 is erroneously a repeat of the motion before it, Motion 87. The correct Motion 88 is shown below:

Conference is alarmed at the intention of the GEC to form a "Senior Grades Committee" as outlined in the 2007 Group Report.

Conference does not believe such a committee will be beneficial to the union, and could in fact be detrimental to our members in lower grades.  Conference also recognises that in reality higher grades a far better represented already on the GEC than AA and AO grades.

Conference instructs the GEC to abandon their plans for a senior grades committee.  No funds are to be made available to spend on this committee and no facilities time is to be allocated to any such committee.
