PCS to Consult on Further Pensions Action

The PCS national executives committee (NEC) has unanimously agreed to consult members over continued campaigning against the government's cuts to public sector pensions. The union's executive decided to hold a consultative ballot of all public sector members on the campaign, which could include further co-ordinated strikes and industrial action with other unions in education and the civil service.
R&C Group Annual Delegate Conference 2012

This year’s group annual delegate conference will again be held in Auditorium 2 [formerly the Hewison Hall], Brighton Conference Centre, Brighton, Sussex on Monday and Tuesday 21/ 22 May 2012. Subject to the standing orders committee’s deliberations, it is anticipated that conference will commence on Monday morning, and finish around Tuesday lunchtime to enable delegates to travel home that day.
Group Conference 2012: Trainee Delegates

Rule 7.4(vii) and 7.17 of the Revenue & Customs group constitution allows for the group executive committee (GEC) to appoint a number of trainee delegates to attend the group conference to held in Brighton on 21/22 May 2012.

Update on negotiations in face to face

The creation of Personal Tax Operations and PT Change, and departure of Richard James, who was previously Head of Operations in Face to Face, has resulted in changes to the senior management structure of Face to Face. Emma Broadbent is now in overall charge of Face to Face, NPS Worklists and Legacy and Lynne Keenay is currently Head of Operations in F2F. The rest of the Operations management team remains as before under their management.
