Civil service compensation scheme

PCS has been actively publicising the proposed changes in the civil service compensation scheme (CSCS) and quite rightly so. It is important that members are aware of the impending changes and the possible consequences.

Revenue & Customs branches, reps and members will play a major role in the national campaign to fight the government's attack and defend our members' rights under the CSCS.

How you can take part

Email the Cabinet office

The Cabinet office is holding a formal consultation about the proposed changes. Over 3,000 PCS members have already sent an email to the cabinet office to protest at this attack on the CSCS.

We need to get a massive number of members to send an email. If many thousands of members send an email in their own words it will have a major influence.

We are encouraging all members to Email pensionspr@cabinet-office.x.gsi.gov.uk to insist that the government honours existing contracts and negotiates a good scheme for new entrants.
