PCS in the south west

6334 - South West 4.6.13

The south west office serves the 18,000 PCS members who live and work in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol.

The main aims of the office can be summarised as follows:

  • Assisting branches in the South West in recruitment and organising issues
  • Campaigning on national and local issues
  • Organising trade union education in the region
  • Playing a full role within the south west TUC

 

South West TUC
At the SWTUC 2014 conference Richard Capps (DWP regional organiser, PCS SW regional committee member) was elected as vice-chair, Catherine Craig (Regional Secretary) to the executive committee and Roger Thomas (Planning Inspectorate) and Mandy Priest DWP) will be our  additional two delegates to the council.
