Public and Commercial Services Union

The south west office serves the 23,000 PCS members who live and work in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol.

The main aims of the office can be summarised as follows:

• Negotiating on pay and conditions of service for members in organisations whose main base is in the region
• Assisting branches in the South West in recruitment and organising issues
• Campaigning on national and local issues
• Organising trade union education in the region
• Playing a full role within the south west TUC

National Campaign: The overwhelming support from PCS members for the successful strike action on 30 November has helped us achieve every aim we had for the day. Details of events in the region from the day can be found here.
