The regional office is now able to send text alerts to reps. This is a particularly useful tool as reps are also able to reply to the text. Your responses come through to us via the southwestregion email account. To be added to the circulation list please send the following details to southwestregion@pcs.org.uk
NB: Please DO NOT provide us with work mobile numbers as the information we send may be about campaigning issues such as strike action.
PCS Reps have been recognised in the first South West Rep Awards:
Richard Capps—DWP Avon
Gloria Galloway—MoD Upavon
The TUC received over 100 nominations and the standard was very high. It‘s fantastic to have confirmation of the quality of our workplace reps. Richard and Gloria have been invited to attend the Awards Ceremony in May.
We would like to offer our congratulations and thanks to Mr Gerrard Sables (middle) and Mr Tony Walsh (right) PCS ARM‘s members who were recently presented with their gold badges for 25 years of service by Sheila Pickman on behalf of the NEC.
Due to the increasing volume of campaigning information that will be coming your way, the regional office has asked branch secretaries to consider whether it would be suitable for us to begin sending PCS information personal email accounts as opposed to your GSI/work addresses.
