You will be aware that PCS is launching a national campaign on protecting services, jobs and pay and conditions. This is the top priority for the union.

Changes to WTUC Education programme for Sept to Dec 2010

You wil be aware that PCS is launching a national campaign on protecting services, jobs and pay and conditions. This is the top priority for the union. As such our Wales TUC education programme needs to reflect this.  New course materials are being compiled, to reflec the campaign, for release mid September. 

As such, we have been instructed by Organising and Learning Services to change the programme that has been advertised. Therefore please note that for the September to December 2010 term we are now only able to support the following courses with travel and subsistence:-

  • union reps stage 1
  • h&s reps stage 1
  • ulr reps stage 1

This means that all applications for stage 2 or other courses have been postponed until the January to March 2011 term. Those that have already applied for the cancelled courses are being notified of the decision. We understand that this will be disappointing and apologise for the inconvenience caused. All applications will be reviewed for the January to March 2011 term should authority to support these courses be received from PCS HQ.
