Lobby your MP this weekend!

Lobbying politicians is an important part of our campaign to defend redundancy rights under the Civil Service Compensation Scheme.

Today, a delegation of PCS reps from all over Britain met MPs at the House of Commons to seek their support in our battle to defend members' terms and conditions. Among the Welsh MPs who met our delegation were the Welsh Secretary, Peter Hain (Neath); Martin Caton (Gower); Siân James (Swansea East); Julie Morgan (Cardiff North); Adam Price (Carmarthen East & Dinefwr); and Alan Williams (Swansea West).

We are now asking members to lobby their own MPs - if possible, at their constituency surgeries, this coming weekend (Friday 5th & Saturday 6th March). In particular, we want them to sign the Early Day Motions (EDMs) put down in the House of Commons in support of our arguments, if they haven't already done so: EDMs 251, 837 and 838.
