Strike day activities in Wales on Monday

PCS is organising activities in Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham next Monday, 8th March, which members are invited to support following picket duty.

Cardiff: strike rally in the Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre, National Museum Cardiff, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NP (entry via the side-door on Park Place), between 11.00 am and 12.30 pm. Speakers: John McInally (PCS national vice-president), Leanne Wood AM (chair, PCS Assembly cross-party group), Dai Havard MP (Merthyr Tydfil & Rhymney) and Martin Mansfield

Swansea: strike rally at the Unitarian Church, 238 High Street (next to Argos), Swansea SA1 1NZ, between 12.00 noon and 1.00 pm. Speakers: Edwina Hart AM (Assembly Member for Gower & Health Minister), Dominic McAskill (Unison Cymru/Wales head of local government), Mike Hallinan (PCS Wales Negotiations Officer), plus PCS activists from local workplaces.
