Lobby your MP to oppose new attack on redundancy rights!

The new Cabinet Office Minister, Francis Maude, has announced plans to introduce legislation to amend the Civil Service Compensation Scheme (CSCS) in an attempt to undermine PCS' recent victory in the High Court. Rather than consult or negotiate with the unions about the implications of that judgement, the government plans to introduce an arbitrary cap on compensation payments, and also to introduce legislation to scrap the legal requirement for the unions to agree any changes to the Scheme.
