Late last week, the NEC and the National Campaigns Liaison Group met to decide our next steps following the positive members' ballot result. This now means that industrial action is going ahead on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March 2010. This is our number one priority and we need to ensure it is a success if we are to persuade the Government back to the negotiating table.
After 'yes' vote, local activists meet to take forward campaign

Peter Harris takes over as PCS Wales Secretary

Peter Harris has been appointed by the General Secretary to the post of PCS Wales Secretary, as part of the union's strategic management review. The review also sees PCS Wales become part of a new department under Jeff Evans, who is now Senior National Officer for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
