4 March national NHS demonstration: Keep our NHS public

30 Jan 2017

PCS members are urged to support the national NHS demonstration we are backing in London on Saturday, 4 March organised by Health Campaigns Together and the People’s Assembly.

We support the campaign for a fully-funded, publicly-owned, NHS and social care service.

We campaign for properly-funded public services and public sector jobs, and against privatisation, cuts and closures.

Join us

Join us on Saturday, 4 March and send a clear message to this government that public services must not be privatised as:

  • Private companies are gaining an ever greater foothold within the NHS, across the public sector and in the civil service.
  • Years of pay restraint has seen the value of NHS staff salaries reduce by 14% since 2010.
  • Our members are paid on average £2,500 less than in 2008 in real terms.

When and where?

Assemble: Noon, Tavistock Square, London, WC1
Nearest Tube:  Russell Square/Euston
March: To parliament.

Transport is being arranged from across the country. Contact your PCS rep where you work or your regional PCS office. Encourage your work colleagues and other PCS members, friends and family to support the demonstration.

Join PCS. Support the NHS. Support public services.
