PCS has been in discussions with DWP about the ending of Extended Working Hours Allowance (EWHA) in July 2019 as part of the Employee Deal collective agreement
PCS has made clear our approach is based on the commitment reached in 2016 that no one is worse off as a result.
The discussions have progressed but we do not yet have a final outcome that can be shared with members. The discussions will continue and a further meeting has been arranged for early June.
Both PCS and management understand the importance of this issue to our members who claim EWHA and the need to have measures in place before July. As soon as we are able to PCS will communicate the final proposal to members.
