Notice of Interserve DWP Office staff Formal consultation

16 Aug 2018

Following a meeting today with management and HR of Interserve I write to inform you that PCS were formally notified of the consultation which will unfortunately result in a number of redundancies

Previously DWP’s FM estate services were delivered by ENGIE as the principle FM provider to Telereal Trillium under the legacy prime estate and model. During this time ENGIE operated two separate models for both the Prime and Office Service contracts, both of which have, in parts, transferred to Interserve. Following this transfer and the go live of DWP estates target operating model (TOM), Interserve following discussions with the DWP and the Integrator, are progressing with the transformation to integrate the workforce to their new operating model.

Following a meeting today with management and HR of Interserve I write to inform you that PCS were formally notified of the consultation which will unfortunately result in a number of redundancies. All staff will receive a letter informing that they are ‘at risk of redundancy’. However, all opportunities will be taken to mitigate against compulsory redundancy and employees will be invited to express an interest in taking a voluntary package. There will also be opportunities for re-deployment. The options will all be covered in the forthcoming ‘one to one’ meetings to be held with all staff.

We will work jointly with Interserve management to ensure a meaningful process is carried out.
