The Natural England pay award has now been published.
Members will be acutely aware of the pressure being put on them and their colleagues, especially with EU Exit work, and the discrepancies between pay in Natural England and other areas that fall under Defra. The 1.5% headline figure set out by the employer masks that it is not fully consolidated for all.
Defra has now published the 2018 pay offer which we have rejected.
Following the publication of the 2018 Treasury pay remit guidance, the document that determines the pay of workers in the civil service and its related areas, PCS, alongside FDA and Prospect, launched a judicial review application of the process followed by the government.
Branches should recently have received National PCS Briefing BB/24/18, “We all deserve a Pay Rise”, which sets out the activities that Branches should be undertaking as part of the national pay campaign in the run up to PCS Annual Conference 2018 on May 21-24.
In the report you will see further details of our issues and campaigns across the department and its NDPBs.
