National Women's Forum

The national women’s forum (NWF) is a sub-committee of the national executive committee (NEC). It advises the NEC on campaigns and issues relating to women members in PCS and the wider society.

The NWF is committed to working to fight the vicious and unnecessary cuts being imposed by government. Women have not faced a greater threat to their financial security and rights in living memory.

Decades of steady, albeit slow, progress on equality is being dismantled, as cuts to women's jobs and the benefits and services they rely on, turn back time on women's equality.

The NWF is made up of representatives from the NEC, employer groups, national branches, occupational associations (such as the support and related grades) and regional committees and meets three times a year.
