Blended (Online) Course - Please note this course is only suitable for learners who can undertake the course using the online platform but there will be an optional ten classroom based tutorials over the year:

Duration: 36 weeks over 3 terms. Online learning with optional ten days classroom tutorial.
Venue: Newhaven Campus
The course is designed for experienced Health & Safety representatives who want to expand existing experience and knowledge and who have previously attended and passed the TUC Health & Safety Representatives Courses Stage 1 and 2, or have passed a suitable equivalent through their own union.
You can complete the course wholly online, or attend some, or all of our classroom based tutorials which we hope will provide support for those students who are new to online learning.
The course will be divided into several units including three core units:-
- Occupational health, safety, welfare and environment
- Occupational health and safety organisation
- Occupational health and safety law.
There are also study skills units in Communication & Study skills, Information Communication Technology (ICT), working with Figures (Level 2) and a Research Project.
The course qualification is Level 2 Diploma and gives a total of 48 credits via the National Open College Network.
