We are inviting applications from PCS young member activists (activists aged 27 and under), including union advocates for the London, East and south East regional TUC’s Future Leaders’ Programme.

What is the LESE TUC Future Leaders Programme?
It is a skills-based development programme designed for young member activists from trade unions in the London, East and South East region of the TUC.
What will the programme cover?
The programme will cover the challenges facing both the trade union movement and issues affecting young members and to develop the practical skills and knowledge that will support members playing an active role in both campaigning and organising work in their unions and the LESE TUC region.
The course will cover:
- Key challenges facing unions
- Strategies and skills for building stronger unions
- Developing leadership skills
- Campaigning and organising skills
- Political engagement and influencing
- Regional TUC priorities including combatting the far right and international
How to apply for the Programme?
PCS young members can self-nominate by completing the online application by 12 noon on Monday 30 March 2020. Please note that PCS places are limited to a maximum of three.
