This course is for pcs members who want to improve their Microsoft Excel skills and identify areas that may need improvement. This course will teach Excel at a basic level and give you the confidence to undertake further ICT learning. 

The training will cover excel basics such as inputting data, performing simple calculations, sorting data, creating charts and graphs and formatting cells, rows, columns and sheets.  Prior to attending the course applicants will be required to do the SkillCheck Assessments which will give you an indication of whether you are operating at a level 1 or level 2 standard of maths. The course will commence at 9:30 am with registration at 9:15 and will finish no later than 16:00.  You must arrange time off with your employer prior to applying.  Please only apply if you have confirmed that you are able to attend.

Trade union representatives have a right to paid time off for training under s178(2)  Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
