This is a 3-day course (Thursdays: 8th, 15th & 22nd November) designed for PCS reps who have a specific role in dealing with members’ problems.
The course aims to assist you to: review workplace issues and the types of problems that members face; develop a systematic approach to handling members’ problems and develop practical interviewing and negotiation skills.
The course covers:
- Identifying workplace issues
- Using procedures and agreements
- Taking up members’ problems
- Interviewing members
- Negotiating with management
- Record keeping.
